IT Support Engineer

We are looking for a an IT Support Engineer to support our Data & Technology team. This person will support our entire organization through identifying, diagnosing, and resolving issues related to our computer systems and networks across geographies, with onsite support in our San Francisco office. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about problem solving, enjoys working with others, and loves to make chaotic situations run smoothly, and understands the value of strong processes.

You are a process- and results-oriented person, passionate about the type of work Generate is doing, and looking to apply your experience to help scale a growing business and drive critical internal process efficiencies.

If you have the below experience and capabilities, we’d love to hear from you:

  • Passion for IT, computers, and mobile devices
  • Windows and Mac OS understanding and troubleshooting experience
  • Microsoft Office understanding and troubleshooting experience
  • Basic networking understanding including WAN/LAN, switches, routers and WiFi
  • The ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems and to recognize when the problem is beyond your abilities
  • Experience in a technical End-User support role
  • Ability to organize time and prioritize tasks independently
  • Unimpeachable integrity and glowing references
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, success-driven, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: flexibility, comfort with risk, recognition that “perfect can be the enemy of the good”
