What you will be doing at Generate Capital as a Recruiter
- Drive sourcing efforts for a variety of open positions at Generate
- Work with team leaders in crafting and defining open positions and descriptions
- Develop a strategy for the execution of searches
- Lead search execution and assess candidates accordingly
- Drive our search processes forward by guiding team leaders through the critical decision making
- Provide a great candidate experience: manage and coordinate communication with candidates, communicating with them in a timely manner, preparing them to interview with specific hiring managers, and providing them with feedback after the interviews
- Drive and monitor programs to improve diversity & inclusion, such as recruiting initiatives targeting underrepresented demographic groups, among others.
- Partner closely with the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition in executing upon recruiting strategy for the year
- Collaborate with the People & Culture team as we continue to build and evolve our culture
Candidate qualifications & core characteristics:
- A demonstrated passion for, or commitment to, our mission
- Minimum 3+ years of talent acquisition experience – either within a recruitment firm or in-house (combined experience preferred) and direct experience in Renewable Energy/Sustainable Infrastructure experience highly valued
- Knowledge of the Renewable Energy/Sustainable Infrastructure space preferred
- Experience leading end-to-end searches managing relationships with hiring managers and candidates
- 2+ years of experience with LinkedIn recruiter and Greenhouse
- Track record of partnering with or working within a high-growth environment. Experience recruiting for an investment management/asset management firm is preferred but not required
- Ability to successfully lead and execute multiple searches at once
- History of implementing diversity and inclusion efforts within the recruiting strategy
- Superior project and time management skills and high attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including empathy, intuition, and listening as well as strong writing skills
- High level of self-awareness and humility, with excitement about confronting uncomfortable situations or new challenges
- Intellectual agility, curiosity, and creativity; problem-solving is your default mode
