Analyst / Senior Analyst – Investor Coverage & Capital Markets

We are looking for a Analyst / Senior Analyst, Investor Coverage & Capital Markets to lead and support relationship management with current and prospective investors related to a variety of different corporate and project-level equity capital raises, the optimization of the company’s capital stack and cost of capital.  This person will report to our Principal, Investor Coverage and will be an integral part of investor coverage planning and execution. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building internal and external relationships, understands infrastructure equity capital raising processes, and enjoys tracking the infrastructure investment private capital market.

You are a process- and results-oriented person, passionate about the type of work Generate is doing, and looking to apply your experience to help scale a growing business and drive critical internal process efficiencies.

If you have the below experience and capabilities, we’d love to hear from you:

  • 1-3 years of relevant infrastructure industry experience with a strong preference for work in investment banking, project finance, management consulting, or private equity with exposure to client communication and/or sales
  • 1-3 years of finance experience and an understanding of financial statements and projections
  • Bachelor’s degree with high academic achievement a plus
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency with SalesForce or similar relationship management software platform a plus
  • Experience with fundraising or other capital raising processes a plus
  • Experience managing projects from start to finish
  • Strong references from prior employers and peers
  • High level of self-awareness and humility, with excitement about confronting uncomfortable situations or new challenges
  • Intellectual agility and curiosity, superb analytical skills; problem-solving is your default mode
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: flexibility, comfort with risk and the unknown, recognition that we’re never going to be perfect and that “perfect can be the enemy of the good
