The Transition

Building Durable Markets for the Energy Transition

Critical infrastructure underpins economic growth, strengthens communities, and improves quality of life. As demand for reliable, affordable, and cleaner energy accelerates, investing in that infrastructure has never been more important.

Generate develops, finances, owns, and operates critical power infrastructure. Our long-term investment model enables us to build and operate the assets that create enduring value for customers, communities, investors, and the broader economy.

Community

Empowering Local Communities

Our projects are community assets. We prioritize local hiring, community engagement, and equitable access to the benefits of clean energy.

Transition Acceleration Framework

Generate Capital partnered with Rhodium Group and CalSTRS to develop the Transition Acceleration Framework (TAF).

TAF is designed to help allocate capital to where it's needed most for the energy transition.

It provides quantitative answers on where a marginal dollar, policy, or procurement decision will deliver the most decarbonization beyond the world's current trajectory.

It's a forward-looking, decision-support framework emphasizing capital efficiency and additionality, built to close the additionality gap.
