Prior to Generate, Aina served as Senior Vice President at Cypress Creek Renewables, where she held full P&L ownership of a 2 GW fleet of 200+ solar and storage assets across ~50 investor and finance partner portfolios. She has previously served as Head of Finance/CFO at both SB Energy (SoftBank Group) and Eagle Creek/Cube Hydro — at the latter, she managed the financial strategy of a ~400 MW hydropower portfolio through its $1.1 billion acquisition by Ontario Power Generation. Aina’s career spans over two decades in renewable energy strategy, finance and operations, including senior roles at TerraForm Power and Global (SunEdison) and AES across public and private platforms in solar, hydro, sustainable and core infrastructure. She holds an MA in Economics/Finance and MBA from Binghamton University and BA from American University in Central Asia.
