Alex Chen

Alex Chen is the VP, Head of Tax, at Generate Capital, and leads the company’s tax function and provides strategic guidance across tax planning and strategy, compliance, reporting, and transactions.

Alex has 18+ years of experience as a tax attorney across technology, venture capital, and renewable energy industries. Prior to Generate, Alex was a tax director at PwC Silicon Valley in the International Tax / M&A practice. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UCLA, a Juris Doctor from USC, and an LL.M. in Taxation from NYU.
